hi there! my name is expe, otherwise known as expealidocious.i'm an artist that likes to write and illustrate characters from media i enjoy, and (more recently) my original characters and story 'STYGIAN', both traditionally and on digital media.while i've been self-taught since a very young age, i've been posting my artwork online since 2023. at the moment, i've been sharing my work more as a pastime, but i aspire to learn and develop my skills through former schooling in the hopes of working as a character artist/designer (and perhaps even a writer) in the future, while doing freelance and commission work, as well.

there are many things that i'm passionate about, including the rights of artists, writers, and creatives, as well as accessibility to education and resources for all human beings. this also includes the efforts of those that work in the field or archiving, museums, and libraries, as they are essential to the preservation of the arts and humanities. in my free time, i read and enjoy learning, especially about art history & anything adjacent to it, and love interacting with other artists, no matter the age or skill level.i also happen to be self-taught in music (guitar, piano, violin) and played in orchestra for seven years (viola)! because of my childhood surrounded by it (alongside art and writing), music something i hold very close to my heart, as well.
